City Gallery of Contemporary Art
City Gallery is a non-profit visual arts space that presents exhibitions of new and innovative works by artists of national and international renown. Educational programs include lectures, workshops, performances and Paper Voices, a series of readings by poets and authors.

Memorial Auditorium
The 2300-seat auditorium hosts performances and receptions and isis home to the nationally acclaimed North Carolina Symphony Orchestra and the North Carolina Theatre. Moore Square Arts District

North Carolina State Dance Program

The Dance Program sponsors two student dance companies, each of which persents several performances annually in the Dance Studio and University Student Center Stewart Theatre. NCSU Dance Company presents modern dance: Dance Visions presents African-American and jazz-inspired dance. Both companies perform works choreographed by students, the artistic directors and guest artists.

North Carolina State University Music Department
The 11 performance ensembles of the Music Department, including the Raleigh Civic Symphony, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, British Brass Band, percussion Ensemble, Varsity Men's Glee Club, Women's Choir, New Horizons Choir, and Chamber Singers, perform more than two dozen concerts annually.

North Carolina Symphony Orchestra
Based in Raleigh, the symphony orchestra performs approximately 50 times a year in the city and another l50 times throughout the state. North Carolina Theatre

Raleigh Ensemble Players
A l2-year-old community theatre specializing in contemporary off-Broadway plays and musicals, REP brings many premieres to the Triangle. Employing local artists and technicians, it performs a season of five shows at Artspace in downtown Raleigh's City Market and holds classes and workshops.

Thompson Theatre at NC State University.
North Carolina State University's performing theatre, Thompson Theatre has provided more than 30 years of student and professional theatre opportunities. Four major productions are presented each school year along with a children's theatre production, the Annual Madrigal Dinner, student studio performances and a summer rolling repertory theatre. In addition, Thompson Theatre sponsors playwrighting contest, a summer British Theatre tour and various student organizations.

Visual Arts Center
The Visual Arts Center produces and presents changing exhibitions in five Student Center galleries, featuring works from the university's art collections and from elsewhere. Included are: ceramics, textiles, sculpture, furniture and outsider art. Photography by artists of regional and national renown.
